Analytics Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a
- driven, communicative, curious, and analytical individual to join our Data & Analytics team as a Senior Data Engineer. We work with
- functional teams to solve complex business problems by connecting data from various sources, integrating them into a central data platform, and curating them to create compelling visualizations. You will be part of the Data Engineering function, responsible for building and maintaining a central data platform to serve other engineers, analysts and business users. Our data platform is built on Azure Synapse Analytics and uses Power
BI for visualizations. We integrate backend data from various DB engines on Azure and GCP with external Saa
S solutions such as Salesforce or Chargebee, as well as
- tracking data. The platform is still in its early stages and there is plenty of room for new ideas and development.

Your Tasks

• Partner with our business stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide curated data ready for analysis to answer strategic business questions across the organization that helps us become more
  - driven
• Connect to internal and external data sources and integrate them into our data platform
• Design and manage dimensional data models and create adhering data transformations
• Support business users and analysts in understanding the data and creating visualizations
• Explore new technologies and data sources with
  -
  - concept initiatives
• Contribute innovative and strategic ideas to help shape a brand new team and data platform, and continue to drive impact as we scale
• Develop expertise across business domains

You Bring

• 5+ years of work experience with data warehouse / data integration solutions, primarily using SQL
• Experience with dimensional (star schema) modeling and ability to develop curated data marts
• Experience consuming data from REST APIs using Python or another language
• Experience with
  - based architecture and
  - time processing of web tracking data
• Experience with data visualization/BI tools such as Power
  BI (preferred), Tableau, Looker, or Domo to communicate business insights using data
• Experience to train and deploy ML models is nice to have
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to identify and summarize roadblocks and constraints, propose potential solutions, and drive towards resolution
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience ideally in
  - science or a quantitative field (Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Quantitative, Physics, Engineering, etc. )
