AP Accountant - French Speaker

Verisure (Securitas Direct in Portugal) is seeking a talented, hands‑on & passionate AP Accountant (France-based Finance Team) to strengthen our team. The role reports to the Shared Services Center Manager and is based in Lisbon.

This exciting opportunity allows you to join a growing team within the leading provider of professionally monitored alarms for residential households and small businesses in Europe & Latam, gaining exposure to a wide variety of accounting topics and team‑building activities.

Responsibilities

• Process and receive invoices as part of the P2P cycle
• Serve as point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Review and ensure correct cost‑centre and account classification on purchase orders
• Participate in weekly and month‑end closing procedures and prepare aging reports
• Process payments
• Assist manager and peers with daily activities
• Perform ad hoc AP and procurement duties as required
• Reconcile AP accounts on a monthly basis
• Collaborate with local finance specialists to comply with accounting, tax, annual reports and local legislation

Reports & Organization

Hierarchically reports to the Shared Services Center Manager (Lisbon) and functionally to the Head of AP team (Antony, Paris, France).

Qualifications

• Education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business; qualified accountant preferred
• Strong interest in accounting
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting within an international environment
• Fluent in written and spoken French
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced international setting
• Methodical with high attention to detail
• Enjoy working with various IT systems
