Thales Portugal is a Competence Centre of the Thales Group, with around 220 specialized resources. We design, develop and deploy systems and services for Defence, Security, Transportation, and other markets. TBSS (Thales Business Support Services) acts as a Shared Service Center for finance and accounting processes across Thales Group.

Currently, we are looking for AP Payments Team Member to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Electronic payment processing via BACs of third party and/or Intercompany invoices within strict deadlines in
  - operator Thales companies
• Instigate / resolve invoice queries
• Maintain prepayments and debit balances at an acceptable level
• Monthly closing reports and routines with strict deadlines
• Ad-hoc Payables related tasks as required

About You:

• Graduated in Accounting, Management, Economics (or in a similar area)
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience of working for a large and complex organisation - Shared Service Centre environment (preferable)
• Good knowledge of P2P processes acquired in an international company (preferable)
• Good knowledge of English
