Ergo Forsikring, a part of the global ERGO Group, is seeking an experienced and strategic Application Architect to lead the development and modernization of our Ti
A insurance platform. This role is central to ERGO Forsikrings
- term ambition to evolve into a multiliner insurer across the region.

As we expand our product portfolio beyond travel and health insurance, you will be instrumental in ensuring our core systems are fit for scale, integration, and innovation — in line with our business and technology strategy.

The Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong architectural background in insurance platforms — specifically deep experience with Ti
A. You should be capable of operating both strategically and
- on in a complex,
- functional environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of experience in insurance IT, with substantial involvement in Ti
  A implementations
• Proven experience in application architecture and integration in a
  - product or enterprise setting
• Strong understanding of Ti
  A’s architecture, data models, workflows, and configuration
• Solid grasp of architectural principles, software lifecycle management, and system interoperability

Desirable Skills

• Experience with modern integration approaches (APIs, microservices,
  - driven architecture)
• Exposure to cloud strategies and hybrid environments
• Familiarity with security and regulatory frameworks in the insurance or financial services sector
• Certifications such as TOGAF, SAFe Architect, or similar are considered a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Professional fluency in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is an advantage

This is a key role within our IT organization, positioned at the intersection of business transformation and technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve the Ti
  A platform to support new product lines and business domains
• Ensure platform scalability, security, maintainability, and alignment with
  - wide architectural standards
• Serve as technical lead on Ti
  A-related initiatives including platform enhancements, integrations, and migrations
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams to translate business objectives into robust architectural solutions
• Contribute to and enforce architectural governance, documentation, and quality standards
• Integrate Ti
  A with surrounding systems, ensuring
  -
  - end process alignment and data integrity
• Ensure compliance with internal risk, security, and data protection requirements
