Emagine is currently seeking an experienced Application Architect & Java Tech Lead to join a
- term collaboration with one of our international clients. This is a strategic opportunity for a senior professional with strong expertise in Java and microservices architectures, capable of designing scalable software solutions and leading development teams toward technical excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable software architectures using Java and microservices principles.
• Lead technical teams, guiding design decisions and ensuring adherence to architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate fullstack applications using Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Design and manage microservices with Docker, Kubernetes, and Spring Boot.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes using Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
• Manage relational databases (Oracle, My
  SQL, Postgre
  SQL) and No
  SQL solutions.
• Work within Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies to ensure efficient delivery.

You bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing solutions and developing software using the technologies above.
• Strong background in software architecture and technical leadership.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
• Expertise in relational databases (Oracle, My
  SQL, Postgre
  SQL) and No
  SQL systems.
• Experience applying Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Native Portuguese speaker with strong command of English.
• Location: Hybrid – Lisbon
