Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Expert to ensure the security and resilience of our web and desktop applications. You will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, focusing on identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and implementing secure coding practices across multiple platforms. Collaboration with development teams to integrate security by design and respond to evolving threats is essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform security assessments of web and desktop applications, identifying vulnerabilities in design, code, and architecture.
2. Work with development teams to implement secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and enhance application security.
3. Conduct security audits, penetration testing, red teaming, and threat modeling.
4. Stay updated with the latest security trends, exploits, and vulnerabilities, and translate this knowledge into actionable improvements.
5. Develop detailed security assessment reports and remediation recommendations.

Requirements:

1. At least 3 years of experience in application security.
2. MS (preferred) or BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
3. Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE Top 25.
4. Hands-on experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools (e. g. , Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nmap, Snyk).
5. Knowledge of secure software development principles (secure coding, authentication, encryption).
6. Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Java
   Script, PHP).
7. Proficiency in scripting/coding languages such as Python, Java
   Script, or Golang.
8. Ability to analyze obfuscated or minified code.
9. Familiarity with SAST and DAST tools.
10. Strong
    - solving skills and technical leadership experience.
11. Experience working in distributed teams.
12. Fluent English skills.
