You will be primarily responsible for working with Sales Representatives on executing service plans in strategic district accounts, completing agreed contractual services, providing customers with problem solving support, assisting District Sales Representatives with
- ups of new applications in current customers, and transitioning competitively held accounts. This position requires building strong relationships with your assigned customer base to generate a high level of customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans
- Assist Sales Representatives with plant surveys of prospective customers

- ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts - Develop strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support to other District Sales Representatives
- Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required
- Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
- Support services include: Sample testing, light maintenance, customer service, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management, general labor activities
- Actively support the division’s innovations and technology in the strategic district accounts where you provide service support to other District Sales Representatives
- Travel within assigned sales territory
- Coordinate and perform technical troubleshooting jobs
Position Details
- Route territory will include: South of Portugal
- Reside in Sines or Setubal
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial)
- Over 1 year of experience in technical sales or field sales support within industrial sectors
- Ability to travel overnight up to 50% to support the assigned sales territory
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Fluent in Portuguese and intermediate level of English. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical sectors
- Background in water treatment or specialized chemical industry
- Practical knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
- Strong communication skills,
- motivation, organizational abilities, and multitasking capability
