We are looking for an experienced Application Production Support (APS) professional to join a Wealth Management IT team, providing IT Production Support on AS/400 environments.

This role is strongly focused on Run & Operations, handling incidents, BAU service requests, batch monitoring, and infrastructure maintenance in
- critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Operations

• Provide L1/L2 production support for application, system, and
  - related issues
• AS/400 (primary)
• Unix / Windows (secondary)
• Monitor production batches and infrastructure components
• Ensure batch incidents are identified, analyzed, and resolved within agreed timelines
• Escalate risks, major incidents, and operational issues to APS leadership
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and operational roadmaps
• Ensure all production activities comply with IT standards and best practices

Continuous Improvement & Knowledge

• Create, review, and maintain Application Support knowledge articles
• Identify and propose automation opportunities to improve availability, performance, and productivity
• Contribute to stability and resilience of production environments

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong AS/400 troubleshooting skills
• Solid knowledge of:
• DB2/400, CL/400, SQL/400
• RPG / RPGLE, COBOL/400
• AS/400 subsystems, job queues, job logs, journals, objects
• Experience with Unix / Windows environments
• Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills
• Familiarity with job scheduling systems
• Basic understanding of BRMS (backup, recovery, media services)
• Experience with Service
  Now and JIRA is a plus
• Knowledge of Core Banking systems (Olympic, Transact, or similar) is a strong plus
• Understanding of ITIL processes
