Application Production Support Engineer

We are looking for an Application Production Support Engineer to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation!

Location: Lisbon

Main Tasks:

• Monitor and maintain critical business applications to ensure high availability, stability, and performance.
• Participate in incident management processes, including Situation Rooms for P1/P2 incidents, contributing to root cause analysis and ensuring ITIL governance and SLA compliance.
• Execute change requests and deployments following ITIL and Dev
  Ops practices, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Participate in
  - call rotations to guarantee 24/7 support for critical applications.
• Serve as a point of contact for Development teams, troubleshooting issues, coordinating fixes, and collaborating with Scrum teams to enhance systems.
• Implement upgrades, patches, and new functionalities while minimizing user impact.
• Maintain and update technical documentation such as configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Optimize monitoring capabilities using tools like Dynatrace and collaborate with development and centers of expertise to define observability best practices.
• Promote awareness of observability practices to ensure early detection and resolution of potential production issues.
• Complete mandatory training and perform additional duties that support the objectives and proper functioning of the Center of Expertise.

Profile:

• Experienced professional with strong experience in Application Production Support.
• Proficient in incident, problem, and change management within ITIL frameworks.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and working with
  - functional technical teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and ensure continuity of critical applications during major incidents.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; French is a plus.
