I am currently supporting one of my clients — a
- growing international technology company operating at the intersection of digital platforms and the hospitality sector. My client designs and develops
- centric products and services, with a strong focus on application performance, scalability, and security.

As part of strengthening its cybersecurity capabilities, the company is looking for an

Application Security Engineer

to join its international team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities across a wide range of web applications and systems. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting vulnerability assessments and application security reviews
• Supporting development teams by providing technical recommendations and secure coding best practices
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents, and helping implement corrective actions
• Staying informed about emerging threats, attack vectors, and industry best practices
• Collaborating with infrastructure and Dev
  Ops teams to enhance cloud security, particularly in AWS environments
• Promoting security awareness and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
• Applying OWASP methodologies to support threat modeling and secure development lifecycle activities

Profile Sought

• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of
  - on experience in application security testing (excluding internships and apprenticeships)
• Solid understanding of modern security protocols, encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
• Experience with
  - oriented programming languages, ideally Java
  Script-based, Type
  Script)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure security, particularly AWS
• Knowledge of common tools and frameworks for manual and automated security testing
• Security certifications (e. G. , CISSP, GIAC, CEH) are a plus
• Very good command of English
