Role Overview
We are looking for Application Support Analysts (Level 2) to join our E‑commerce support team in Lisbon. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of business‑critical applications. The successful candidate will provide operational and functional support to internal users, manage incidents, and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for e‑commerce applications, assisting internal users in resolving system‑related issues.
- Investigate and resolve data and process discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of system updates.
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurring incidents.
- Manage change requests—including planning, testing, and releasing functional fixes.
- Monitor and enhance existing business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Document incident resolutions and problem management procedures, maintaining a structured knowledge base.
- Collaborate with developers and other technical teams to communicate business requirements and technical findings.
- Support batch processes and critical end‑of‑day operations, ensuring uninterrupted performance of Tier 1 systems.
- Participate in environment set‑up for software releases and perform pre‑production and post‑deployment testing.
Technical Skills
- Linux/UNIX & Windows Systems – Expert
- Monitoring Tools (Dynatrace, Universe, or similar schedulers)
- SQL / Oracle – Proficient
- Python and other scripting languages – Intermediate
- Familiarity with ITIL methodology (incidents, changes, problems, and requests management).
Language Skills
- English: Expert (mandatory)
- Portuguese: Basic (nice to have)
- French: Basic (nice to have)
Soft Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact clearly with both technical and non‑technical teams.
- Proven teamwork and collaboration abilities in an international environment.
- High degree of proactivity, ownership, and problem‑solving attitude.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
