Application Support Engineer Lisboa

We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and tech‑savvy professional to join our Application Production Support team. You’ll play a key role in keeping critical business applications stable, available, and high‑performing. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll help resolve incidents quickly and contribute to long‑term solutions, all while delivering top‑notch IT services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain application performance and availability.
• Support incident management (e. g. P1/P2 situations, RCA) and help resolve recurring issues.
• Ensure ITIL governance and SLA compliance in the production environment.
• Execute change requests and deployments using ITIL and Dev
  Ops tools.
• Proactively identify and fix technical issues to keep operations running smoothly.
• Participate in on‑call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for critical apps.
• Act as a go‑to contact for development teams, helping troubleshoot and coordinate fixes.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams to design, deploy, and improve systems.
• Implement upgrades, patches, and new features with minimal user impact.
• Maintain clear and up‑to‑date technical documentation.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the global support team.
• Optimise and manage monitoring tools (e. g. Dynatrace) in production.
• Work with development and Centres of Expertise to define observability strategies.
• Promote awareness of monitoring practices for early issue detection and resolution.
