Application Support Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Application Support Specialist to join our client's team in Lisbon. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical business applications in a production environment. You will play a key part in delivering
- quality IT services and driving
- term solutions through collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
This position offers a hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office), providing flexibility while fostering team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain applications within scope, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Collaborate in incident management, including participation in Situation Rooms for P1/P2 incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem resolution by identifying trends and implementing definitive solutions.
- Ensure ITIL governance compliance within IT Production, including adherence to SLAs.
- Execute change requests and deployments following ITIL and Dev
Ops processes and tools. - Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to guarantee smooth business operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring 24/7 availability for critical applications.

- Application Servers & Kubernetes:
- Red
Hat JBoss EAP 6. 4 and 7. 0 (administration) - Open
Shift (microservices) - API Gateway principles
- Operating Systems: RHEL Linux
- Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, ELK stack
- CI/CD: Git
Lab, Argo
CD, Jenkins, Nexus Sonatype - Databases: MSSQL Server, Postgre
SQL - Cloud Environments: Support experience
