This is a 12-month internship with GEHC, offering an opportunity to support customer satisfaction through service excellence in medical imaging technology.

Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer (FSE) Apprentice, you will be the key contact for customers, performing routine maintenance, responding to service calls, and supporting the field team. Our goal is to improve lives by developing and maintaining advanced medical imaging equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing planned maintenance and safety inspections with minimal supervision.
• Following policies and documenting all actions accurately.
• Maintaining communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Assisting more experienced technicians with repairs.
• Working as part of a team to deliver efficient service.
• Updating technical knowledge through ongoing training.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a compliance environment and working with medical devices.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and computer skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in a hospital setting.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Experience working with teams and customers.
• Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
