Architect & Cloud Security Engineer – Azure/OCI (Lisbon, Portugal)

We are recruiting an Architect & Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our team in Lisbon. The role will work on a hybrid basis with the possibility of remote work.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and secure landing zones on Azure and OCI, including micro‑segmentation, identity & access management, logging pipeline, data classification, and encryption strategy. Improve security postures by configuring Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Cloud Apps, DLP, and other Microsoft security tools. Lead the integration of cloud workloads with SIEM/SOAR platforms (Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar) and CSPM solutions. Perform scripting and automation using Power
Shell, Python, Go, or similar. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure or security engineering focused on public cloud (Azure and/or OCI).
• Proven experience improving Azure Defender score and configuring Microsoft security tools.
• Demonstrated design and delivery of secure landing zones at scale.
• Knowledge of Azure Well‑Architected Framework, Azure Security Benchmark, CIS Foundations Benchmark v2. 0 (Azure & OCI), NIST SP, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT cloud tactics.
• Experience with Terraform/Bicep, Kubernetes security (RBAC, network policies, Pod

  Standards), container registry hardening, and image signing (Cosign/Notary v2).
• Experience integrating cloud workloads with SIEM/SOAR platforms and CSPM tools.
• Scripting or coding experience with Power
  Shell, Python, Go, or similar.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (preferable).
• Certifications: AZ‑305/AZ‑500, OCI Architect Professional, CCSP or CISSP‑ISSAP (valued).
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
