The Role: Avaloq Technical Architect

Location: Lisbon

Work Model: 4 days in the office

Sector: Financial Services

Languages: English (B2–C1)

Recruitment Process:

• Initial interview (~40 minutes)
• Two
  - depth interview sessions (~3 hours each)

Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

Your Profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of Avaloq development experience
• Extensive knowledge of Avaloq modules and technical components
• Expertise in PL/SQL and database access tools
• Knowledge of Liquibase and experience in Data Pipeline development is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile principles, ideally with Scrum experience
• Ability to work independently and take substantial personal responsibility

Technical Environment (What you will be working with)

• Avaloq Banking Suite and modules
• PL/SQL and relational database technologies
• Liquibase for database version control
• Agile development environment (Scrum)
• Development and deployment of financial and corporate solutions

What You Will Be Doing (Concrete responsibilities)

• Design and deliver
  - performance IT solutions with cost efficiency in mind
• Ensure technical design compliance for implementations and product releases
• Develop and maintain the
  - out framework for various releases
• Assist with, document, and analyse production incidents and Level 3 support requests
• Draft and share technical specifications, support backlog resolution, and collaborate with teams to deliver solutions
