Architecture Manager vacancy in Funchal Portugal

We are seeking a Contract Architecture Manager to oversee architectural design and construction projects in Funchal. The successful candidate will collaborate with clients, contractors, and architects to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. Strong leadership and attention to detail are essential for managing a team of architects and maintaining quality in project plans.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the architectural design process from conception to completion
2. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable design solutions
3. Manage project budgets and timelines
4. Review and approve project plans, specifications, and technical documents
5. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and regulations
6. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in construction
7. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
8. Mentor and manage a team of architects
9. Provide guidance on design standards, industry trends, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• At least 5 years of experience as an Architecture Manager or similar role
• Proven success in completing projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, building codes, and construction methods
• Proficiency in Auto
  CAD or comparable software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leadership ability and collaborative mindset
• Attention to detail
• Portuguese nationality or willingness to relocate to Funchal

Salary:

The monthly salary for this position is $1100. Additional benefits may be provided based on experience.
