We are now looking for a Technical Architect (Senior Consultant Level) willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team.

Technical Architect (Senior Consultant Level)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid Work Model)

Department: Closer SW Factory – Software Engineering & Delivery

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join our team, responsible for leading software engineering projects and ensuring robust application architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development (Angular, Java, Oracle) and a deep understanding of modern software architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Architecture & Design

• Define and oversee architectural standards for scalable, secure, and
  - performance solutions.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (e. g. , microservices,
  - native tools).

Full-Stack Development Guidance

• Frontend: Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5/CSS3, Thymeleaf.
• Backend: Java/Spring Boot, Python, PL/SQL, Hibernate.
• Data Layer: Oracle, My
  SQL, Mongo
  DB, Elasticsearch.
• Dev
  Ops: Azure Dev
  Ops (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts), Docker, CI/CD.

Technical Leadership

• Mentor development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and security (OAuth 2. 0, Open
  ID).
• Lead Po
  Cs and advocate for modern frameworks (e. g. , Kafka for event streaming, Kibana/Grafana for analytics).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with PMs, BAs, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Audit system performance (logging via SLF4J/Log4j) and optimize infrastructure (Web
  Logic, Tomcat, Linux).

Innovation & Trends

• Stay ahead of industry trends (e. g. , No
  SQL, containerization) and drive adoption where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

• +5 years in software engineering with experience in architecture roles.
• Expertise in:
• Java ecosystem (Spring, Hibernate) and Angular .
• RDBMS (Oracle, PL/SQL) and No
  SQL (Mongo
  DB).
• Dev
  Ops tools (Azure Dev
  Ops, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of security protocols (OAuth 2. 0), APIs (REST/JSON), and scalability patterns .
• Familiarity with portal systems (Liferay, Word
  Press) and analytics (Power BI, Prometheus).
• Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus).
