Due to the company’s continual growth and forthcoming capital deployment stream, Norfin intends to select: Asset Management Associate | Finance

The successful candidate will join a team managing one of the largest resort developments in the Algarve, which includes an operating golf course and a substantial land bank for future developments. These range from a 5-star hotel and branded residences to luxury villas and residential allotments.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Participate in the management of assets across a wide range of areas, including development, legal, marketing, commercial, and financial, in close coordination with
  - house teams,
  - party service providers, and external partners.
• Coordinate shared service teams and local teams to ensure seamless and efficient operations.
• Contribute to financial modelling, review of assumptions, and preparation of board and investor memorandums to support management decisions and strategic reviews.
• Maintain
  -
  - date financial models incorporating the latest data (sales, capex, operations, debt, etc. ), and monitor budget execution.
• Assist in the production of investor reports and respond to investor queries on financial matters.
• Monitor and forecast investment capital requirements, prepare capital calls, and manage capital distributions.
• Support activities related to existing financing arrangements and contribute to the structuring of new financing solutions.

Role Requirements

• Undergraduate and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in real estate investment or asset management, strategy consulting, financial consulting, corporate finance, or similar fields.
• Strong financial modelling skills; prior exposure to real estate or hospitality is highly advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power
  Point.
• Basic understanding of AI tools (e. g. , Chat
  GPT) and the ability to leverage them to enhance daily workflows.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, particularly in assessing data, assumptions, and strategic options.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and development.
• Strong
  - awareness, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute positively to team culture.
• Sense of ownership and responsibility, with the ambition to grow into a
  - rounded real estate investment and asset management professional.
• Results-driven approach and a natural inclination to add value and make a meaningful impact.

This is a Lisbon-based hybrid role (3 days per week in the office are expected)
