Responsibilities
- As Asset Surveillance & Intelligence Process Engineer, you detect equipment failure mode degradation and operating window deviations on offshore assets using the appropriate data analytics tools, processing abnormal behavior alerts into effective maintenance recommendations that you track till completion. You provide feedback to improve surveillance tools and algorithms (e. g. , false positives and performance indicators).
- Perform Asset Surveillance to enable early detection of anomalies and failure modes in offshore asset processes and equipment within your technical discipline and assigned systems/assets, enabling early intervention to restore performance.
- Conduct Asset Surveillance with the relevant available Asset Surveillance tools.
- Process surveillance alerts from tools into maintenance recommendations,
- tune algorithms that triggered alerts, or raise requests for algorithm review/improvement. - Ensure maintenance recommendations are defined with the right priority.
- Use AB tracker for alert processing and participate in periodic review sessions on alert management and on specific algorithms/tools.
- Follow up on outstanding actions and review effectiveness after execution/feedback.
- Execute asset surveillance in line with management system expectations and KPI targets.
- Liaise closely with the central Asset Surveillance & Intelligence (ASI) department and other relevant departments on surveillance tool and algorithm continuous improvement.
- Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering (or equivalent in relevant disciplines).
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience, ideally within an operational energy industry or processing environment.
- Preferred at least 2 years in asset surveillance with process data analytics experience and/or predictive maintenance.

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering or equivalent qualifications in relevant disciplines.
