Assistant Cost Manager

As a member of the cost management team, you will take part in service delivery for data centre construction project located in Sines, Portugal. This role requires being
- site during the work week. No hybrid work applies.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cost Managers in the preparation of cost plans, cost‑in‑use studies.
• Participate in the creation of cost estimates and option studies.
• Take part in tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.
• Assist Cost Managers with the evaluation and reporting of tenders.
• Valuation of completed work and arranging for payments.
• Preparation and settlement of final accounts.
• Administration of construction contracts.
• Preparation of reports to customers.
• Remaining within the remit of your role.

Qualifications

• Engineering, QS or Architecture.
• High level of English and Portuguese.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
• Good organisation, problem solving and negotiating skills.
• Sound ICT skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Power
  Point.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in Portugal.
