Assistant Financial Controller - Group

Working closely with the Head of Group Finance, the Assistant Financial Controller – Group will be responsible for producing the monthly consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading the Group annual audit process. This includes financial record keeping, filing compliance, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting for all group subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial reports for the entire group (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow) – 15+ entities in various countries
- Coordinate with regional finance teams to collect financial data and ensure proper integration into the group reporting system on a timely basis.
- Prepare the necessary schedules/journals required for
- end reporting. - Monitor the financial accounts of all the Group’s entities, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Oversee accounting and reporting for the Group entities (Group Ltd, Midco, and Bidco).
- Set the standard for financial processes and postings to ensure consistency across the group.
- Lead the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with FRS102 accounting standards.
- Lead the group audit process, coordinating with group and local audits to ensure smooth completion within the scheduled timeline.

- hoc support to the FP&A team as required. - Assist the CFO & Head of Finance with other workstreams as needed.
Experience
- Experience with
- country/currency consolidations - Knowledge of FRS102 / IFRS accounting standards
- Experience in producing financial information
- Preparation of statutory cash flow statements
- Understanding of regional differences in standards and culture
