The Assistant IT Manager supports the IT Manager in maintaining the hotel’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and
- user support. This role involves system monitoring, technical troubleshooting, and assistance with the implementation of IT projects and security procedures, contributing to the delivery of a secure, efficient, and responsive IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
- Assist in responding to and resolving IT support requests from all departments.
- Monitor system performance and ensure timely updates and security patches are applied.
- Support the IT Manager in the enforcement of data protection, backup, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Assist in the documentation of IT procedures, inventory, licenses, and user access logs.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers when necessary to coordinate repairs or updates.
- Provide training and guidance to team members and
- users on IT tools and procedures. - Assist in network maintenance, including wireless access points, routers, and servers.
- Ensure that IT policies and SOPs are followed throughout the property.
- Keep up to date with developments in information systems and technology relevant to the hospitality industry.
- Step in for the IT Manager during periods of absence, when required.
