Main activities:

1. Oversee the certification of financial statements within your perimeter, including Balance Sheet, Off-Balance Sheet, and reconciliation between economic and accounting P&L on a monthly and quarterly basis.
2. Identify and substantiate in detail any gaps in methodology for financial production activities of the CIB (Equity, Commodities, Financing, or Fixed Income activities).
3. Investigate the necessity to post accounting/financial adjustments to ensure data accuracy.
4. Contribute to quarterly closing controls to enhance data quality.
5. Communicate with Market Risk teams (responsible for controls on economic P&L), Support departments (middle and back offices), and other Finance departments (Financial Permanent Control (Lo
   D2), Norms, Statutory and Social Accounting).
6. Justify differences in accounting standards (between French GAAP and IFRS GAAP).
7. Control internal P&L.
8. Justify all accounts within your responsibility.

Profile and skills we look for:

• Higher education in accounting, with initial professional experience in banking or audit.
• Knowledge of CIB products and activities is appreciated.
• Good knowledge of database management.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word; knowledge of Access is a plus.
• Some expertise in Power BI is a plus.
• Experience as an accounting expert and/or external auditor, preferably in a business area.
• Ability to quickly think logically to control data acquisition & treatment on financial inputs, detect anomalies, and analyze root causes.
• Familiarity with financial products (bonds, repos, Forex operations, IRS, CCYIRS, etc. ).
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Additional details:

Temporary project: approximately 6 months.

Schedule: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Hybrid).
