Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Transport Infrastructures Business Unit by recruiting an Associate Engineer for the Roads and Railways division, based at our Alfragide office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities

• Develop Roads and Railways projects;
• Ensure compliance with project deadlines;
• Perform Roads and Railways calculations, including geometric design, earthworks and drainage, using specialized softwares;
• Ensure project compliance with national and international regulations, as well as
  - specific requirements;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design optimized solutions;
• Prepare technical reports, project summaries, Bo
  Q’s and design specifications;
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering;
• Proven experience in the development of Roads or Railways projects;
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in similar roles;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto
  CAD and specialized softwares for roads and railways calculations; knowledge of BIM solutions for roads and railways will be valued;
• Strong capacity for work and adaptability to different types of projects;
• Autonomy, proactivity, and a
  - oriented mindset;
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit;
• Focus on technical excellence, attention to detail, and strong
  - solving skills;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset).
