The Associate Consultant, Indirect Tax ("Associate") works with the team to provide indirect tax services to global clients and helps improve compliance for clients while gaining an understanding of how to prepare indirect tax credit claims. This includes researching issues, drafting memorandums, reconciling databases, and completing detailed calculations. The Associate also provides administrative support for client engagements and contributes to the overall growth of the practice.

Responsibilities
- Create a positive team member experience.

- Takes direction from multiple team members to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, meeting critical deadlines and seeking assistance with prioritization when needed.
- Create files for clients and projects utilizing Microsoft Excel.
- Copy, scan, upload workpapers at client site or in Ryan office; download, print, and organize workpapers for review.
- Scan, format, code, and map client data into databases.
- Research client and industry for team members; perform other duties and assist with other projects as assigned.
- Prepare emails, memos, letters, and confirmation requests; gather required signatures on forms and letters.
- Handle tasks in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy; safeguard confidential information and sensitive material.
- Maintain ability to quickly learn new procedures with limited direction; research and manipulate data; demonstrate solid analytical, research, and
- solving skills. - Follow instructions explicitly and know when to ask questions for clarification; use strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
- Work overtime and travel independently as needed.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- No experience required. Accounting and financial knowledge, experience, and education are a plus.
- Minimum of B2 English required.
Computer Skills
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Power
Point, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
