Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage simple contract negotiations and document processes for Product Marketing, Purchasing, and Sales.
- Review, revise, draft, and negotiate Customer-related volume purchase/buying group agreements (less than $100 Million), rebate agreements, and Product Marketing modifications.
- Provide advice to Sales and related departments regarding business issues/risks.
- Negotiate Strategic Initiatives agreements.
- Assist in developing mitigation strategies and negotiate to obtain favorable contract terms.
- Identify process improvements and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Research and prepare responses to RFP, RFI, and RFQ.
- Perform contract compliance functions including review of agreements, implementation of terms, and database audits.
- Support Transactional Legal Team with tasks such as termination reviews, contract interpretation, SOX/audit research, and other projects.
- Review and negotiate standard TD SYNNEX documents and agreements.
- Ensure proper application of contract terms and audit contract compliance.
- Serve as liaison between TD SYNNEX departments to ensure negotiations reflect common interests.
- Participate in
- departmental projects as assigned. - Assist in document retention and legal discovery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Operate under normal supervision within established guidelines.
- Exercise independent thinking and
- solving skills at a medium level. - Conduct negotiations under supervision or guidance.
- Impact: Company-wide, high impact, affecting all major functional areas.
- Responsibility: Company-wide, including international subsidiaries.
- Experience: 1-2 years, with prior negotiation or contract handling desirable.
- Knowledge of internal processes and legal training or paralegal certification is desirable.
- Self-motivated, able to work under stress and shifting priorities.
- Strong verbal, analytical, and writing skills; English mastery required, additional languages desirable.
- Able to build effective relationships and communicate clearly.
- Able to interact with all management levels and negotiate effectively.
- High level of
- solving and confidentiality skills.
