Our Associate Data Engineer position offers a unique opportunity to join an innovative engineering team within the AI & Data Science (AI&D) organisation. You’ll work on
- generation capabilities and services in Applied AI & Automation using innovative COTS products,
- source software, frameworks, tools, and cloud computing services. The role emphasizes demonstrating these capabilities to support critical business operations and initiatives, ensuring quality, compliance, and performance across Amgen’s Applied AI & Automation footprint.

What You Will Do
- Collaborate with
- functionally to perform data integration, create data models, design and develop dashboards and action flows - Take ownership for the design, build, maintenance and analysis of data to drive business decisions
- Run discovery workshops with various business stakeholders to model and design processes using BPMN
- Perform process and root cause analysis to identify metrics & KPIs
- Use AI assistants to speed extraction, modeling, analysis and surface insights
- Stay current with the latest AI/ML and Gen
AI tooling and actively contribute to internal
- sharing forums
What We Expect Of You
Our ideal candidate:
- Degree in an IT discipline or similar relevant subject
- Hands-on experience with Process Intelligence tools like Celonis
- Domain knowledge expertise with multiple SAP processes
- Knowledge of BPM tools and their standard practices
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and experience with data visualization tools
- Hands-on experience scripting languages
- Knowledge of RAG pipelines & prompt engineering
- Excellent
- solving skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets - Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and compliance requirements
