The Marketing Innovations Team at Agoda identifies and develops new marketing channels with high growth potential. This department is highly creative,
- driven, and focused on developing
- scale marketing programs that ensure Agoda’s leadership in emerging channels. The team comprises top analysts, marketing strategists, and data scientists. Our leadership has deep experience in data science, product, strategy, and marketing, fostering an environment that thrives on data, creativity, and technology. The team also promotes a great learning environment for growth and development.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Spearhead the development, execution, and optimization of strategies for growing Agoda’s new and emerging marketing channels.
- Conduct analysis of large, complex datasets related to channel performance, user behavior, and market trends, translating raw data into actionable insights.
- Develop hypotheses, design experiments (e. g. , A/B tests), and build structured analyses to evaluate campaign effectiveness and drive
- driven decisions. - Partner with various business functions to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns using tools like SQL or Tableau.
- Communicate complex findings, performance updates, and strategic recommendations clearly to stakeholders, including senior management.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Extensive experience: 5+ years in Data Analysis or related projects involving big data, preferably in tech,
- commerce, or digital marketing. Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics, or Finance is a plus. - Data-driven approach: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and MS Excel, with the ability to analyze data and generate impactful insights.
- Innovative
- solving skills: Ability to tackle complex challenges creatively and effectively navigate organizational resources. - Strong communication skills: Excellent writing and verbal abilities; proficiency in creating impactful presentations. Chinese language skills are a strong plus.
- Stakeholder management: Ability to communicate, influence, and persuade at different organizational levels, including senior management.
It’s great if you have:
- Experience in digital or social media marketing.
- Experience with hypothesis testing, statistical analysis, and using Python or R for data analysis.
