Job Description Summary

Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with strategic insights and recommendations. We deliver value by leveraging expertise,
- driven insights, and execution across a diverse global client base in banking, payments, retail, and restaurants. Mastercard Services focuses on acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience.

The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Performance Analytics consultants translate data into insights by leveraging Mastercard and customer data to design, implement, and scale analytical solutions for customers. They use qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques and enterprise applications to synthesize analyses into clear recommendations and impactful narratives.

Responsibilities

• Provide creative input on projects across a range of industries and problem statements
• Contribute to the development of analytics strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology solutions to unlock client value
• Collaborate with Mastercard team to understand clients’ needs, agenda, and risks
• Develop working relationships with client analysts/managers, acting as a trusted and reliable partner

Team Collaboration & Culture

• Collaborate with senior project delivery consultants to identify key findings, prepare effective presentations, and deliver recommendations to clients
• Independently identify trends, patterns, issues, and anomalies in defined areas of analysis, and synthesize findings to highlight relevant insights
• Lead internal and client meetings, and contribute to project management
• Contribute to the firm’s intellectual capital
• Receive mentorship from performance analytics leaders for professional growth and development

Basic Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with data and analytics experience in business intelligence and/or descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analytics
• Ability to analyze large datasets and synthesize key findings
• Ability to understand and structure business problems, leveraging data
• Experience with data analytics software (e. g. , Python, R, SQL, SAS)
• Advanced Word, Excel, and Power
  Point skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a
  - paced,
  - driven environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (mandatory) and the local office language or other European languages (preferred; e. g. , Spanish, German)
• Eligibility to work in the country where you are applying, and ability to obtain travel visas as required by travel needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders
• Experience building AI models or working with data visualization tools (e. g. , Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to identify problems, brainstorm and analyze solutions, and implement the best ones
• Relevant industry expertise
