Overview

Senior Analyst, Retail Segment is a key support role in the global Retail and Commerce Segment function within the Business Integration and Expansion team within Mastercard’s Data & Services business. Segments provide the strategic direction for vision, products and capabilities to meet market, competitive, and client partner needs and act as a
- first steward for our business.

Role

In this role, you will be part of a team driving our retail segment forward by consistently innovating, problem solving, and partnering across business lines. This role will support the VP of Retail Segment in defining the growth strategy for the Retail segment, including continued growth of existing business and new avenues to increase relevance, revenue and profitability. The Senior Analyst, Retail Segment, helps to build an understanding of current partner and market needs and trends, ensuring that Mastercard Data & Services optimizes current offerings to support these needs, as well as considers new products, capabilities and services to meet needs – now and in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the
  - &
  - term strategy and oversee tasks to completion, resolving challenges to keep all activities on scheduled timelines
• With support, build narratives to support segment strategies for retail and relevant retail
  - industries
• Conduct research for priority markets and key accounts
• Work with product management team representatives to create
  - level narratives and content
• Partner with Segment Leads on tracking and reporting
• Monitor consumer and market trends and help create communications to share this information to relevant practitioners globally
• Play a key coordination and communication role in the Retail practice
• Contribute to thought leadership around segment trends and customer needs

All About You / Experience

• Background/experience in the Retail & Commerce space preferred, giving the applicant the ability to think from the perspective of the customer
• Advanced Word, Excel and Power
  Point skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in written and verbal English
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both internal and external stakeholders
