Job Overview

The Associate Medical Director / Medical Director will provide medical, clinical, and scientific advisory expertise to IQVIA divisions. Participate in all aspects of Medical Science involvement on assigned trials, serve as a medical expert during project delivery, and support business development activities.

Essential Functions

• Medical Monitoring: Serve as Global Medical Advisor on assigned projects, providing guidance on medical and scientific aspects, supporting investigative sites and project staff, reviewing protocols and related documents, and attending meetings.
• Respond to urgent
  - related issues at investigative sites, available 24/7.
• Perform medical reviews of adverse events, serious adverse events, and clinical study reports.
• Provide therapeutic area/indication training for the clinical team.
• Attend and present at investigator meetings and other project meetings.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school, with a medical license.
• Minimum 5 years' clinical medicine experience and 4 years in clinical trials or industry.
• Specialty Board certification.
• Strong knowledge of scientific, clinical, regulatory, and competitive landscape in the therapeutic area.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and guidelines for clinical research.
