Overview / Summary
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our Infra Cloud Squad. This role focuses on automating the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in enabling scalable, secure, and efficient environments. The team’s core responsibilities include analysis and architecture validation of cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities and Tasks- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) solutions to automate the deployment of Azure resources. - Develop and maintain reusable automation using Ansible whilst managing deployments with automate configuration management. - Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines using Red Hub Ansible Automation Platform (RHAAP) or Git
Hub Actions. - Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost optimization best practices. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage tasks via Jira. - Document infrastructure designs, automation processes, and operational procedures. - Support the team in architecture validation and infrastructure analysis. Mandatory Requirements- +3 years of experience in automating Azure infrastructure for data and analytics platforms. - Strong proficiency and experience with Ansible for configuration management. - Solid scripting skills in Power
Shell and/or Python. - Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev
Ops, Git
Hub Actions). - Familiarity with Azure networking, identity, monitoring, and security. - Experience working in Agile teams and using Jira for task management. - AZ-900 Certification is required. Complementary Requirements- Microsoft certifications (e. G. , AZ-104, AZ-305, DP‑600). - Experience with monitoring and alerting automation (e. G. , Azure Monitor, Log Analytics). - Exposure to Data
Ops or Dev
