It is hereby made public that, for a period of ten working days, starting from the fifth working day following the publication of this Notice on the University's website, a recruitment competition is open for one Associate Professor, under a
- time employment regime, in the disciplinary area of Marketing.

The opening of this competition was authorized by COFAC – Cooperativa de Formação e Animação Cultural, C. R. L. , the founding entity of Universidade Lusófona, within the scope of its legal powers to hire teaching and research staff, pursuant to paragraph i) of no. 1 of article 30 of Law no. 62/2007, of September 10, and paragraph i) of no. 5 of article 7 of the Statutes of Universidade Lusófona.

Skills/Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Ph
  D in Marketing (minimum five years since completion);
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (B2 or higher, CEFR);
• Proven teaching experience and pedagogical skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Research and publications in Marketing or Advertising;
• Experience coordinating research projects;
• Participation in national and international R&D and outreach activities;
• Publications in
  - reviewed international journals (CORE A or A* / Sci
  Mago indexed);
• Experience supervising postgraduate students or coordinating courses.

Eligibility criteria

• Ph
  D in Marketing, awarded at least five years before the application date.
• Oral and written proficiency in Portuguese and English (minimum level B2).

Selection process

Applications will be evaluated on a 0–100 scale:

• Scientific career (up to 35%), with emphasis on research over the last 5 years;
• Professional experience (up to 55%), related to the field of Marketing;
• Motivation letter in English (10%), assessing motivation (5%) and English proficiency (5%).

The Selection Committee may conduct interviews (up to 10% additional weight) with the top five candidates.

Only candidates with a final score above 60% will be considered.

Evaluation timeline:

The Selection Committee deliberates within 15 working days after the submission deadline.

The Rector approves the final ranking within 10 working days following candidate notifications.
