Job Description

We are seeking a contractor to work as Atlassian IT solution manager within our global IT teams. In this role, you will manage the development, industrialization and maintenance of business and R&D processes. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions that streamline business projects and processes.

This role interfaces with multiple departments including R&D, Operations and Sales, etc. You will collaborate with them to deliver robust tools and ensure best practices in development, documentation, and governance.

You will manage a dynamic team of 4 employees in a fast‑paced environment, working with stakeholders across India, the US, France, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the relation with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Design and implement solutions using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence), Jenkins, and Python with your team.
• Be a tech lead for the other members of the Vantiva Atlassian business solution team.
• Promote and enforce best practices in development, documentation, and governance.
• Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for production systems.
• Maintain the right level of service for the Vantiva Atlassian ecosystem. It must be available 24/7.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and keep it up to date.
• Manage the budget.
• Manage the roadmap aligned with business requirements and Vantiva’s strategy.
• Train end‑users and empower teams to leverage developed solutions effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in team’s management.
• Experience in vendor management and budget management.
• Strong experience with JIRA administration and Groovy scripting language to customize, automate, and extend Jira's functionality.
• Strong experience with Confluence usage.
• Hands‑on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Object programming.
• Advanced Python development skills, especially in web contexts (REST APIs).
• Strong business understanding and ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• High‑level written and verbal communication skills to work with stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
