Platform Engineer
The Platform Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure solutions — with a strong focus on Kubernetes, automation, and infrastructure reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes Operators, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and operations.
- Develop software solutions using Go or similar programming languages.
- Automate cloud infrastructure and incident response workflows.
- Enhance applications with self‑healing and resilience capabilities.
- Create playbooks to support actionable alerts and streamline incident resolution.
- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in platform engineering or related roles.
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python programming.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies (CKA or Open
Shift certification required). - Experience with CI/CD and Git
Ops tools such as Argo CD. - Proficiency with cloud providers, especially Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Overview / Summary: We are looking for a Senior Dev
Ops Data Platform Engineer to help define and implement Dev
Ops standards, build the core of the future internal data platform, improve and refine existing infrastructure and codebases, architect infrastructure‑as‑code solutions, coordinate application deployments, lead initiatives within the Group Data area, handle incidents across environments, and advance automation efforts to enhance consistency, speed, and resilience.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Help define and implement Dev
Ops standards and contribute to building the core of the future internal data platform. - Improve and refine existing infrastructure and codebases, ensuring efficiency, stability, and up‑to‑date operations.
- Architect and implement infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform or Cloud
Formation. - Coordinate application deployments across all environments (Dev, QA, Preprod, Prod) within the Group Data ecosystem.
- Lead initiatives within the Group Data area, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Handle incidents in pre‑production and production following established escalation paths.
- Advance automation efforts for assigned platforms and workflows to increase consistency, speed, and resilience.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Extensive hands‑on experience with AWS services (ECS, EC2, Cloud
Front/WAF, Glue, Athena). - Advanced experience with Terraform and Cloud
Formation. - Strong experience with Jenkins, Git, and Git
Lab Pipelines for CI/CD. - Deep understanding of ECS and Docker for containerized microservices.
- Expert knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and core networking.

We’re looking for an Operations & IT Specialist to join our dynamic team on a mission to revolutionize personalized medicine.
In this role, you'll be the central point of contact for office operations, lab logistics, and day‑to‑day IT support, ensuring that our people, equipment, and systems stay productive and secure.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure smooth daily operations across both office and laboratory environments, including supply management, equipment coordination, and overall workspace organization.
- Manage purchasing, ordering, tracking, and invoicing for all office and lab materials, maintaining accurate inventory and stock levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers in Portugal and the UK, handling import/export logistics and ensuring timely delivery of consumables and equipment.
- Oversee lab logistics and maintenance, acting as a key point of accountability for operational readiness and day‑to‑day lab needs.
- Support routine laboratory infrastructure tasks, helping maintain a safe, organized, and compliant working environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, scheduling, and documentation.
- Contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS), including compliance efforts related to ISO 13485 (e. g. , data backups, software validation documentation).
- Identify opportunities to optimize, streamline, and automate operational processes as the company scales.
IT Support & Infrastructure:
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues: hardware, software, network, and general IT troubleshooting.
- Provide both on‑site and remote IT support.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software (including computer cleaning, OS installation and configuration).
- Manage IT asset inventory: laptops, shared devices, peripherals, and assigned equipment.
- Handle onboarding/offboarding equipment distribution, setup, and collection.
- Maintain and improve IT documentation (SOPs, guidelines, troubleshooting steps).
- Interface with IT‑related vendors and service providers.
- Promote IT best practices, including those aligned with security and data integrity standards (e. g. , ISO 27001).
- Support the automation of routine IT or operational tasks (basic scripting beneficial).
- Ensure monitoring and maintenance of lab servers, data access controls, and network stability.
What we’re looking for:
- Fluency in English and Portuguese, written and spoken.
- 2–3 years of experience in operations, office management, lab support, IT support, or another technical/administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to keep environments tidy, stocked, and running smoothly.
- Hands‑on, proactive problem‑solver who takes initiative and can work independently.
- Experience in IT troubleshooting (hardware, software, network, user setup).
- Ability to manage suppliers, deliveries, and basic logistics (including import/export coordination).
- Experience with inventory management, ordering processes, or stock tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate operational documentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Willingness to support both office operations and laboratory logistics day‑to‑day.
Bonus / Nice‑to‑Have:
- Experience in a laboratory setting, R&D environment, or supporting scientific teams.
- Familiarity with QMS frameworks, especially ISO 13485 or similar regulated environments.
