Job Description:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer – PLC/SCADA Specialist with solid
- on experience in industrial automation to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement automation solutions for smart infrastructure and industrial environments. You will be deeply involved in PLC and SCADA programming, electrical schematics, and industrial networking. Collaborating closely with
- functional teams, you will deliver reliable, scalable, and
- compliant systems, contributing across all stages of projects—from concept and design to commissioning and optimization.
Must-Have:
- Solid
- on experience with industrial automation systems - Proficiency in PLC programming such as Codesys, PLCNext Engineer, TIA Portal and Twin
CAT - Advanced skills in electrical design tools such as EPLAN and Auto
CAD - Experience with SCADA systems based on Niagara Framework
- Scripting skills in Python
- Ability to configure and optimize industrial drives (e. g. , Mitsubishi Electric, Danfoss)
- Experience with industrial robotics, including Mitsubishi 6-axis arms and RT Tool
Box3 software - Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols
- Availability to work in a hybrid model based in Lisbon
Would be great if you have:
- Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields
- Knowledge of continuous integration (CI) practices in industrial settings
- Interest or prior exposure to Industry 4. 0 and smart manufacturing technologies
- Experience in
- facing projects or technical support roles - Understanding of industrial safety standards and compliance (e. g. , ISO, CE marking)
