Responsibilities

1. Define and build automation frameworks for web applications using Playwright (Type
   Script).
2. Set up and extend mobile testing using Detox and potentially Appium.
3. Design and implement API regression suites using Node. js with Jest and Supertest.
4. Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for
   - deployment validation.
5. Collaborate with developers and product teams to align testing strategies.
6. Provide technical leadership on test structure, coverage, and automation best practices.
7. Assist in onboarding team members to frameworks and oversee test maintenance.

Minimum Requirements

1. Proven 4+ years of experience in automation testing (web, mobile, API).
2. Strong proficiency with Type
   Script and frameworks like Playwright, Detox, or Appium.
3. Experience testing REST APIs with tools like Supertest, Jest, or Postman.
4. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git
   Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git
   Lab CI.
5. Deep understanding of QA methodologies and Agile workflows.
6. Availability to work primarily in LATAM hours with a minimum 2-hour overlap with MDT.
7. Upper-Intermediate English level.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience designing automation architecture from scratch.
2. Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or Codecept
   JS.
3. Exposure to performance testing tools and methodologies.
4. Background in startups or
   - paced product teams.
