YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Automation Quality Engineer to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Automate test strategies in headless / backend services.
• Establish and promote best practices.
• Work with data engineering / data science teams.
• Apply automation to eligible projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5+ years experience building and using test tooling, frameworks, and platforms to automate test strategies in headless / backend services.
• Significant experience working with data engineering / data science teams, and driving test automation of their models, platforms, and products.
• Excellent Python development skills, with production product development experience.
• Experience with Clojure (non‑production) and functional programming.
• Excellent SQL development skills.
• Comfortable with basic statistics concepts.
• Strong English, good communication skills, and excellent documentation skills.
• Opinionated about modern software development techniques and practices, with a willingness to share, partner, and coach testers, developers, and product people in test strategy development, creating testable architectures and code. Bonus points for experience in TDD, BDD or ATDD.
• Time zone overlap with Eastern and Central Europe (optional).
• Experience in assuring quality in data pipelines or with large data volumes.
