Responsibilities

• Development, maintenance and execution of automated test scripts alongside training other colleagues.
• Scoping responsibilities within the project:
  • Elaborate the automation test strategy and perform test management.
  • Plan the rollout of the automated test scripts.
  • Estimate the budget and timeframe of test automation.
  • Estimate return on investment.
  • Perform a POC to assess technical feasibility of the test automation for any given application.
• Development and execution of automated test scripts:
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate test scenarios into Gherkin.
  • Perform 3 Amigos sessions.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts with KARATE to test API.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests within existing CI/CD pipelines or create new pipelines using Jenkins/Gitlab CI.
  • Setup and maintain test infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Debug issues when running test scripts.
  • Maintain and evolve automated test frameworks to improve ROI and test quality.
  • Analyse and document test results.
  • Provide required information for Go/No Go.
  • Report any risk of non‑commitment regarding delays or quality.
  • Give feedback to direct hierarchy on project progress.
• Contribute to training colleagues and knowledge update:
  • Train developers or junior automation testers to execute, develop and maintain test scripts for CI/CD.
  • Train team members on Gherkin.
  • Continuously learn industry best practices and emerging tools for test automation.

  • Apply test procedures defined for the department.
  • Participate in workshops regarding these themes.

Technical Skills

• Degree in Informatics or related areas.
• Understand the project’s methodology.
• Knowledge of test methodology principles and vocabulary (ISTQB).
• Experience testing applications for life and protection people.
• Minimum 2 years experience in Test Automation activities.
• Expertise to develop and maintain automated test scripts, to test API.
• Expertise (2+ years) in Karate testing framework, Gherkin, Cucumber.
• Expertise (2+ years) in Java, Maven, Jenkins, Intelli
  J.
• Expertise in Postman, JSON.
• Experience with Docker image creation and pipeline creation.
• ALM Octane experience.
• Risk identification and follow‑up.
• Nice to have: SQL knowledge; UFT and Selenium knowledge.
