Automation Tester

Responsibilities / Main activities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.

- Build and improve robust, reusable test automation frameworks.

- Implement and execute functional, integration, and API tests.

- Collaborate closely with developers and other QA professionals to ensure
- quality deliverables.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and the CI/CD pipeline.

- Analyse and report bugs, providing clear documentation and test evidence.

- Work with data formats such as Excel and CSV for test input/output.

- Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and tools to enhance testing processes.

Professional Knowledge and Expertise

- 4+ years of experience as a QA automation engineer.

- Proven experience working with BDD and Gherkin test case languages

- Experience with web application backend testing and Continuous Integration processes.

- Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA).

- Basic Java language knowledge

- Knowledge of SQL/No
SQL databases.

- Fuent Portuguese & Fluent English

- Experience in the use of CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes.

- ISTQB is a plus

Main hard skills:

- Strong Gherkins knowledge

- Good BDD methodology knowledge

- Good Java Knowledge is an add value but not mandatory

This position will require:

- 2 days per week presence at our office

- Portuguese and English fluence

- Basic functional knowledge is a plus

- Java knowlege is a plus
