Job Description

1. Review user stories and acceptance criteria to develop effective test plans and both manual and automated test cases in collaboration with the development team.
2. Participate actively in scrum ceremonies to distribute test cases according to the test pyramid.
3. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
4. Take technical ownership of the STLC for new features on testing suites to ensure timely and quality delivery.
5. Research test tools, methodologies, and trends to upgrade existing practices and processes.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an IT-related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.
• Hands-on experience with Java.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automation frameworks (e. g. , Selenium, Robot Framework).
• Good understanding of all levels of the testing pyramid.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
