ROLE SUMMARY:

King's College School, Cascais, a recent addition to the Inspired Group, currently admits Year 9 students and will expand to Year 10 next year. The curriculum is primarily Cambridge International, with plans to offer IGCSEs from other boards. By September 2026, the school will introduce the International Baccalaureate.

The school has quickly established a reputation for excellence in Portugal and aims to become a highly regarded institution regionally and internationally. Its prime location, excellent facilities, and outstanding staff have contributed to a 55% growth in student enrollment this year, reaching 704 students.

The school will launch its boarding facilities in 2024, accommodating up to 50 pupils within the campus, which offers stunning views of Sintra mountains and the Atlantic. Boarding students and staff will have access to facilities including a 25m swimming pool, tennis and padel courts, gyms, basketball courts, dance and music rooms, and a 5G astroturf sports field.

Position: Monitor

We are seeking a Monitor who provides
- quality support for children and teachers across various learning and teaching contexts.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Dynamic and responsible;
• Availability to collaborate with the team in educational and recreational activities;
• Team spirit and initiative;
• Experience working with children (preferred);
• Strong resilience and patience;
• Willingness to perform tasks such as cleaning workspaces;
• Educational assistant technician course (preferred).
