Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and optimize
- cloud infrastructure to ensure resilience and efficiency;

Manage and monitor critical data clusters and services, applying performance and cost improvements;

Conduct Kubernetes upgrades, anticipating breaking changes and minimizing downtime;

Automate operational processes and cost management, including networking, scaling, and virtual environment creation;

Collaborate with
- functional teams, lead complex tasks, remove blockers, and promote engineering best practices and a culture of quality;

Participate in architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field;

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, Dev
Ops, or Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on cloud infrastructure and operations (AWS, Azure, or GCP);

Hands-on experience managing and optimizing database and distributed system clusters (e. g. , Cassandra, Elasticsearch), including migrations, downscaling, and performance tuning;

Proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources;

Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev
Ops, Jenkins, Argo
CD, Flux
CD, or equivalents);

Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), including cluster upgrades with minimal downtime.

European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.

Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week.
