Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and optimize
  - cloud infrastructure to ensure resilience and efficiency
• Manage and monitor critical data clusters and services, applying performance and cost improvements
• Conduct Kubernetes upgrades, anticipating breaking changes and minimizing downtime
• Automate operational processes and cost management, including networking, scaling, and virtual environment creation
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams, lead complex tasks, remove blockers, and promote engineering best practices and a culture of quality
• Participate in architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, Dev
  Ops, or Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on cloud infrastructure and operations (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands‑on experience managing and optimizing database and distributed system clusters (e. g. , Cassandra, Elasticsearch), including migrations, downscaling, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure Dev
  Ops, Jenkins, Argo
  CD, Flux
  CD, or equivalents)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), including cluster upgrades with minimal downtime
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency
• Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week
