Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and optimize
  - cloud infrastructure to ensure resilience and efficiency;
  
  
• Manage and monitor critical data clusters and services, applying performance and cost improvements;
  
  
• Conduct Kubernetes upgrades, anticipating breaking changes and minimizing downtime;
  
  
• Automate operational processes and cost management, including networking, scaling, and virtual environment creation;
  
  
• Collaborate with
  - functional teams, lead complex tasks, remove blockers, and promote engineering best practices and a culture of quality;
  
  
• Participate in architectural decisions and provide technical guidance to the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field;
  
  
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, Dev
  Ops, or Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on cloud infrastructure and operations (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
  
  
• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing database and distributed system clusters (e. G. , Cassandra, Elasticsearch), including migrations, downscaling, and performance tuning;
  
  
• Proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources;
  
  
• Experience with
  CI/CD tools (Azure Dev
  Ops, Jenkins, Argo
  CD, Flux
  CD, or equivalents);
  
  
• Experience withcontainerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), including cluster upgrades with minimal downtime.
• European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
• Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week.
