Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Senior Cloud Engineer to work closely with the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCo
E) in defining, implementing, and enforcing best-in-class cloud operational practices across enterprise AWS environments.

This role plays a critical part in supporting new cloud initiatives , providing architectural guidance , delivering solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Ia
C) , and leading incident resolution in
- paced,
- availability environments within the Insurance domain .

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCo
  E) to establish and enforce AWS operational standards and best practices
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures aligned with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS Cloud
  Formation
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated cloud deployments
• Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and
  - cause analysis for critical AWS services
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory standards
• Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Act as a senior technical escalation point during high-pressure production incidents

✅ Required Technical Skills

• Deep
  - on expertise across AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc. )
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (Ia
  C) best practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git
  Hub Actions, and AWS Code
  Pipeline
• Solid experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and performance tuning in AWS
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and
  - making skills in production environments

• Experience working in regulated industries (Insurance, Banking, Financial Services)

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or related roles
• Proven
  - level experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise AWS solutions
• Strong ability to collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams
