Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a our teams into one of the largest insurance groups in the world, present in 64 countries. It’s an opportunity fully remote.

What you will do:

Ensuring the management of applications and data in the cloud;

Serverless Infrastructure: Collaborate in the design, development and serverless optimization of Azure for data pipelines;

Adjust components for performance, scalability, security and data privacy.

Smart Device Integration: Integrate smart devices using AWS Io
T Core with secure protocols;

Troubleshoot and ensure seamless device connectivity.

External Data Integration: Extract, standardize and enrich data from external partners via APIs; Ensure robust error handling and data validation.

Database Management: Administer SQL and No
SQL databases, ensuring configuration and optimization; Implement data retention, backups and collaborate with analysts.

Data Pipeline Design: Design
-
- end data pipelines with quality checks and monitoring; Enhance pipelines to meet changing business needs.

Data Lake Management: Architect scalable data lakes with partitioning, indexing and access controls; Maintain data lake integrity with data architects.

What you are like:

At least 2 years of work experience as a Data Engineer;

Experience in implementing Azure technologies;

Experience in data engineering (e. g. DAX, Py
Spark, Databricks, Azure Analysis Services, Azure Dev
Ops, Spark);

Experience in SQL databases (e. g. Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora) and no
SQL (e. g. Amazon Dynamo
DB);

Proven experience in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects.
