About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Platform Engineer to join an innovative automotive technology project focused on Aftermarket analytics. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing the data and analytics platform within the Azure ecosystem — ensuring high scalability, reliability, and performance for data‑driven and AI‑powered use cases. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on engineer with strong expertise in Azure services, data integration, and Dev
Ops practices, who thrives in collaborative and agile environments.
Main Responsibilities
Platform Development & Maintenance
- Develop and maintain software components within the analytics platform, focusing on Aftermarket‑specific functionalities.
- Ensure that all components are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance and cost efficiency.
Collaboration & Data Integration
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Integrate relevant Aftermarket data sources, ensuring data quality and consistency across the platform.
- Contribute to the evolution of the platform architecture, supporting both analytical and machine learning initiatives.
Automation & Dev
Ops Excellence
- Implement and maintain APIs, services, and automations that support analytics and ML use cases.
- Ensure best practices in Dev
Ops, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure automation using Azure Dev
Ops. - Proactively identify and adopt new technologies and frameworks within the Azure ecosystem.
Mandatory Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Azure Platform Engineer.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Dev
Ops. - Proven experience in software development, preferably in Python, . NET, or Java.
- Demonstrated experience with data integration and pipeline development.
- Familiarity with service‑oriented and event‑driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
Valued Certifications (Nice to Have)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ‑204)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP‑203)
