Abtrace is a health tech company based in London also with a presence in Portugal, with a team of doctors, researchers, developers and data scientists that bring together software engineering, machine learning expertise and medical experience to build clinical algorithms to support primary care clinicians.

The team is dedicated to creating digital health software to deliver Population Health interventions individualized to patients. This involves the continuous scanning of the entire health record of a patient to detect signals of deterioration, early onset of new disease and opportunities for preventative interventions.

We work with over 250 primary care practices in the UK covering 2. 5 million patients.

About the role:

We are looking for a Back-End (Mid/Senior) to join our team who works well in a fast moving team and communicates effectively with
- technical team members.

The core of the role will be building backend components for our applications. The candidate will be proficient in developing scalable
- based applications with Python and Node
JS, and will ideally have experience working with AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Write
  - tested, scalable backend application code
• Work with a small, close knit, diverse
  - disciplinary team of developers, data scientists and doctors

Requirements

• Backend development in Python; experience with Node
  JS is a plus
• Building, testing, and deploying applications on a cloud platform (preferably AWS)
• Experience with SQL/No
  SQL databases and building data ingestion pipelines
• Dev
  Ops/cloud infrastructure management (Cloud
  Formation/Terraform or similar)
• Experience with serverless applications (AWS Lambda or similar)
