The Role

We're looking for a
Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby)
to help scale our platform and keep it running smoothly as we handle millions of requests every day.

Location:
Hybrid (Lisbon)

Salary:
€55k-65k/ year

You'll work on

• Building and scaling microservices (mostly Ruby, but not required)
• Improving performance and reliability
• Using modern practices: Infrastructure as Code, peer reviews, Continuous Delivery, A/B testing, observability, and monitoring
• Experimenting and using data to deliver new features and improve the user experience

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of software development with OOP (Ruby is a plus)
• Experience designing and deploying backend services with high performance and availability
• Team player who collaborates well and enjoys mentoring others
• Comfortable documenting ideas and weighing solution
